Staying motivated when you’re pushing a boulder up a hill
Today Becky Gould, Executive Director of Nebraska Appleseed joins the podcast.
Nebraska Appleseed fights for justice and opportunity for all Nebraskans. While giving a voice to the voiceless can be invigorating, it can also sometimes feel like the deck is stacked against you. The task of effecting social change is massive, and is akin to pushing a boulder up a hill.
Pushing boulders can be tiring. If you don’t take time to rest, reflect, and reset, you suffer risking burnout–both individually and as an organization.
Becky shares some of her tips for staying strong in the face of adverstiy. This episode has many practical takeaways and tactics anyone can implement today.
